81 My soul is pining for your salvation; ♦︎
I have hoped in your word.
82 My eyes fail with watching for your word, ♦︎
while I say, O when will you comfort me?
83 I have become like a wineskin in the smoke, ♦︎
yet I do not forget your statutes.
84 How many are the days of your servant? ♦︎
When will you bring judgement on those who persecute me?
85 The proud have dug pits for me ♦︎
in defiance of your law.
86 All your commandments are true; ♦︎
help me, for they persecute me with falsehood.
87 They had almost made an end of me on earth, ♦︎
but I have not forsaken your commandments.
88 Give me life according to your loving-kindness; ♦︎
so shall I keep the testimonies of your mouth.

14 Therefore, the days are surely coming, says the Lord, when it shall no longer be said, As the Lord lives who brought the people of Israel up out of the land of Egypt, 15but As the Lord lives who brought the people of Israel up out of the land of the north and out of all the lands where he had driven them. For I will bring them back to their own land that I gave to their ancestors.
16 I am now sending for many fishermen, says the Lord, and they shall catch them; and afterwards I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks.
17For my eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from my presence, nor is their iniquity concealed from my sight.
18And* I will doubly repay their iniquity and their sin, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable idols, and have filled my inheritance with their abominations.
19 O Lord, my strength and my stronghold,
my refuge on the day of trouble,
to you shall the nations come
from the ends of the earth and say:
Our ancestors have inherited nothing but lies,
worthless things in which there is no profit.
20 Can mortals make for themselves gods?
Such are no gods!
21 Therefore I am surely going to teach them, this time I am going to teach them my power and my might, and they shall know that my name is the Lord.

7After this Jesus went about in Galilee. He did not wish* to go about in Judea because the Jews were looking for an opportunity to kill him. 2Now the Jewish festival of Booths* was near. 3So his brothers said to him, Leave here and go to Judea so that your disciples also may see the works you are doing; 4for no one who wants* to be widely known acts in secret. If you do these things, show yourself to the world. 5(For not even his brothers believed in him.) 6Jesus said to them, My time has not yet come, but your time is always here. 7The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify against it that its works are evil. 8Go to the festival yourselves. I am not* going to this festival, for my time has not yet fully come. 9After saying this, he remained in Galilee.
