31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.

³⁶For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever. Amen.

²⁴ You guide me with your counsel,
   and afterwards you will receive me with honour.^*
25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
   And there is nothing on earth that I desire other than you.
²⁶ My flesh and my heart may fail,
   but God is the strength^* of my heart and my portion for ever.

²²The glory that you have given me I have given them, so that they may be one, as we are one, ²⁴Father, I desire that those also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
