1 O give thanks to the Lord and call upon his name; ♦︎
make known his deeds among the peoples.
2 Sing to him, sing praises, ♦︎
and tell of all his marvellous works.
3 Rejoice in the praise of his holy name; ♦︎
let the hearts of them rejoice who seek the Lord.
4 Seek the Lord and his strength; ♦︎
seek his face continually.
5 Remember the marvels he has done, ♦︎
his wonders and the judgements of his mouth,
6 O seed of Abraham his servant, ♦︎
O children of Jacob his chosen.
23 Then Israel came into Egypt; ♦︎
Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 And the Lord made his people exceedingly fruitful; ♦︎
he made them too many for their adversaries,
25 Whose heart he turned, so that they hated his people ♦︎
and dealt craftily with his servants.
26 Then sent he Moses his servant ♦︎
and Aaron whom he had chosen.
45 That they might keep his statutes ♦︎
and faithfully observe his laws.
Alleluia.

4Then Moses answered, But suppose they do not believe me or listen to me, but say, The Lord did not appear to you. 2The Lord said to him, What is that in your hand? He said, A staff. 3And he said, Throw it on the ground. So he threw the staff on the ground, and it became a snake; and Moses drew back from it. 4Then the Lord said to Moses, Reach out your hand, and seize it by the tailso he reached out his hand and grasped it, and it became a staff in his hand 5so that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.
6 Again, the Lord said to him, Put your hand inside your cloak. He put his hand into his cloak; and when he took it out, his hand was leprous,* as white as snow. 7Then God said, Put your hand back into your cloakso he put his hand back into his cloak, and when he took it out, it was restored like the rest of his body 8If they will not believe you or heed the first sign, they may believe the second sign. 9If they will not believe even these two signs or heed you, you shall take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground; and the water that you shall take from the Nile will become blood on the dry ground.

14 When Jesus entered Peters house, he saw his mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever; 15he touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve him. 16That evening they brought to him many who were possessed by demons; and he cast out the spirits with a word, and cured all who were sick. 17This was to fulfil what had been spoken through the prophet Isaiah, He took our infirmities and bore our diseases.
