26I have much to say about you and much to condemn; but the one who sent me is true, and I declare to the world what I have heard from him. 27They did not understand that he was speaking to them about the Father. 28So Jesus said, When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will realize that I am he,* and that I do nothing on my own, but I speak these things as the Father instructed me. 49for I have not spoken on my own, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment about what to say and what to speak. 10Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own; but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 15I do not call you servants* any longer, because the servant* does not know what the master is doing; but I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from my Father. 7Now they know that everything you have given me is from you; 8for the words that you gave to me I have given to them, and they have received them and know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me.
