7 The angel of the Lord found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, the spring on the way to Shur.
8And he said, Hagar, slave-girl of Sarai, where have you come from and where are you going? She said, I am running away from my mistress Sarai.
9The angel of the Lord said to her, Return to your mistress, and submit to her.
10The angel of the Lord also said to her, I will so greatly multiply your offspring that they cannot be counted for multitude.
11And the angel of the Lord said to her,
Now you have conceived and shall bear a son;
you shall call him Ishmael,*
for the Lord has given heed to your affliction.
12 He shall be a wild ass of a man,
with his hand against everyone,
and everyones hand against him;
and he shall live at odds with all his kin.
13So she named the Lord who spoke to her, You are El-roi;* for she said, Have I really seen God and remained alive after seeing him?*
14Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi;* it lies between Kadesh and Bered.

3 For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgement, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. 4For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, 5so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. 6We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: prophecy, in proportion to faith; 7ministry, in ministering; the teacher, in teaching; 8the exhorter, in exhortation; the giver, in generosity; the leader, in diligence; the compassionate, in cheerfulness.

16I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon* of the church at Cenchreae, 2so that you may welcome her in the Lord as is fitting for the saints, and help her in whatever she may require from you, for she has been a benefactor of many and of myself as well.
3 Greet Prisca and Aquila, who work with me in Christ Jesus, 4and who risked their necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles. 5Greet also the church in their house. Greet my beloved Epaenetus, who was the first convert* in Asia for Christ. 6Greet Mary, who has worked very hard among you. 7Greet Andronicus and Junia,* my relatives* who were in prison with me; they are prominent among the apostles, and they were in Christ before I was. 8Greet Ampliatus, my beloved in the Lord. 9Greet Urbanus, our co-worker in Christ, and my beloved Stachys. 10Greet Apelles, who is approved in Christ. Greet those who belong to the family of Aristobulus. 11Greet my relative* Herodion.
